Little Easy

Situated in the heart of the always-dynamic Ponsonby Road, Little Easy needed to showcase what it offered in a way that could be seen and understood from the street.

The site gave us two distinct areas, an upstairs loft and a downstairs kitchen and main bar, which needed to work cohesively together while still being strong enough to stand alone as separate spaces.

The brief was about celebrating the good old kiwi community pub, and the concepts emerged quickly from there: freedom, nostalgia and good times. We worked on the brand expression for this one as well as the interior, which is something we did on a number of projects like it.

The DJ station Kombi van had to be lifted in by crane through the roof, which meant temporarily closing Ponsonby Road.
